Lactose

Lactose is a carbohydrate and one of the main ingredients of human and animal milk which is concentrated. As a disaccharide (also called a double sugar, is a molecule formed by two monosaccharides, or simple sugars), consisting of glucose and galactose, lactose acts as an energy-carrier in milk.
